Lincoln Commercial Bodies Backs George Gamble in British GT

We are proud to announce that Lincoln Commercial Bodies is officially backing Nottingham racing driver George Gamble for the British GT Championship season.

George is competing behind the wheel of the striking yellow-and-black #59 McLaren Artura GT4, run by championship-winning outfit Optimum Motorsport. If you’ve spotted the car out on track, you’ll see our LCB branding sitting proudly on the side alongside Evolution Securities.

From the Workshop to the Pit Lane

Motorsport at this level comes down to engineering discipline, exact tolerances, and team trust under pressure—values that hit very close to home for us.

Just this past weekend, a few of the team from our Lincoln workshop headed down to Donington Park to cheer George on in person. For lads who spend every day welding, fabricating, and building bespoke commercial vehicle bodies, seeing the Optimum garage in action was a fantastic experience. The sheer speed of the pit work, the attention to detail on the McLaren, and the intensity of wheel-to-wheel GT racing gave everyone back at the shop a massive buzz.

Backing Local Talent

George brings serious pedigree to the grid—as a former Porsche Carrera Cup GB Champion and BTCC race winner, he’s one of the sharpest racers around. Getting behind a local driver who works as hard as he does was a natural choice for Lincoln Commercial Bodies.
